EI-05 was a "Space Shuttle Robo." When the Zonder-infected Youichi Yamanoguchi escaped from GaoGaiGar, he was instructed by Pizza to fuse with a Space Development Corporation space shuttle mounted to a new type of engine. At first the Zonder managed to go undetected during the launch and broke cover after it, attacking the astronaut in the cockpit. The astronaut proved to be none other than Cyborg Guy undercover
Cyborg Guy managed to prevent this Zonder Robo from reaching orbit by removing the shuttle's secondary boosters and puncturing its main propellant tank with GaiGar's claw hand.
