Lamia (a Latin vampiric monster), the "Betterman", often shows up when the employees of Akamatsu Industries are in danger, transforming into one of his fighting forms to save them. Often accompanied by Seeme. He seems especially intent on saving Hinoki Sai. Lamia bears more than a passing resemblance to Hinoki's deceased brother, due to eating the Vivele Fruit that grew from him, causing Lamia to inherit his memories, as well as some of his physical attributes. His ultimate goal is to defeat Cancer, the enemy to all life on Earth and protect Hinoki, whom he believes may also produce the revolutionary Vivele Fruit.
As seen in King of Braves GaoGaiGar FINAL Grand Glorious Gathering, Lamia is observed keeping tabs on the events in the Trinary Solar System, psychically communicating with Papillon Noir and Guy Shishioh.
He also appears in the trailer for the cancelled Project Z, warning Mamoru Amami of the threat posed by Genesic GaoGaiGar wielding The Power and helps out Mamoru in the novel continuation The King of Kings ~GaoGaiGar vs. Betterman~.
Lamia is voiced by Takehito Koyasu. Height: 200cm.
