Black-soldato

Soldato J-019 and Arma 019.

One of the Soldato J warriors who, like Soldato J-002, fell to wandering in the desert after the Red Planet's defeat, having lost his Arma somewhere along the way. Deciding to take power instead of dying, he smashed his own J-Jewel and replaced it with Zonder Metal, becoming a Zonderian. In this form he mechanized many planets and killed anyone who recognized him until he found his missing arma. He tried to kill her, but with the last of her strength she restored his memories of being a warrior against mechanization, but failed to purify him. J-019 went partially mad with grief, having killed his Arma and having memories of being a soldier but having no way to oppose the 31 Machine Primevals with his Zonderized body. He somehow obtained a doll-like version of his deceased Arma, a thing that would look and act somewhat like her but was unable to use any telekinetic or purifying powers. With her he managed to travel to Earth to confront GGG and J-002.

On Earth he challenged J-002, manipulated by the Primevals into attacking. The pair fought and J-002 was wounded, but was rescued by Arma, much to the surprise of J-019, who didn't believe there was still a living Arma left in the world. After that fight ended in a draw, J-019 attacked the GGG Orbit Base, only to be stopped by J-002 for a continuation of their battle while Arm Primeval fought GGG. J-002 won the fight and Arma attempted to purify him.

However, this was a trap by the Primevals: J-019 was a Zonderian that was as powerful as a Primeval. Since Armas were designed to neutralize Primevals, purifying J-019 would have caused their powers to cancel each other out, destroying them both. Realizing what was happening, J-002 stopped Arma's purification. Overcame by the Primeval's orders, J-019 attempted to kill Arma for the last time, but J-002 was faster and mortally wounded him.

After having made his peace with himself and J-002, J-019 apparently died with his Arma doll by his side while his J-Ark, the J-Battler, drifted into space.

However, this was not the end of him. After the J-Ark was sent into deep space following the defeat of Z-Master, J-019 attacked the J-Ark in a repaired J-Battler while the latter was trying to find the center of the universal compression phenomena. He now sports what appears to be a Loud J-Jewel and intended to use the J-Ark to rebuild the J-Ark fleet for the rebirth of the Red Planet.

J-002 questioned J-019 how he could keep up with him without an Arma, to which he replied that he was under the control of someone greater than Arma. The two launched their J-Quath at one another, but the J-Battler proved to be more powerful. J-019 then asked J-002 to submit to the authority of Abel, the leader of the Red Planet, much to the shock of Arma. However, J-019 replied that he made two mistakes: having superior power alone does not make him superior, and Abel no longer exists in this world. He then fired all of King J-Der's weapons at King Battler, however, the latter used ES missiles and charges to send all of the former' beams and missiles into other dimensions before returning fire with all of its weapons, severely damaging King J-Der.

However, this was a ruse. While King J-Der fired its barrage, it secretly fired a series of ES missiles. Using the missiles to clear the way, Arma manually altered the course of the last missile, taking it through a tiny gap in King Battler's Generating Armor calculated by Tomoro, allowing him to enter it. He then discovered the throne to be empty. J-019 was shocked, since such an action had a 99% chance of trapping him in another dimension forever, to which Arma replied that with the help of J and Tomoro, there was still a 1% chance of success.

Meanwhile, with the help of Tomoro, J-002 fused the two J-Quaths together into the Double J-Quath and sent it at King Battler. Meanwhile, Arma disabled King Battler's Generating Armor. The attack crippled King Battler and fatally wounded J-019. In side King Battler, J-002 helped J-019 recall when they were comrades in arms in the Soldato Division. It was revealed that the "Abel" he saw was an illussion created by the Chemical Bolts in his brain. Tomoro explained that Chemical Bolts was an experimental technology from the Trinary Solar System.

Just as J-002 and Arma wondered who could have done this to J-019, King Battler started breaking apart and 019's body started to disintegrate. In his last moments, 019 stated that he was happy to have met the two and bid them farewell. Soon after the two escaped, King Battler disintegrated as well. The two later learned that both J-002 and the J-Battler were Repli-Jins created by the 11 Planetary Masters of Sol using the Pas-Q Machine. Repli-J-019 was modified by Palparepa to steal the J-Ark. However, J-019's death was not in vain: Tomoro analyzed the combat data with J-Battler and used it to improve the J-Ark during its repairs, eventually allowing it to evolve into the strongest J-Phoenix.
